Symposium Opening Plenary: “Finding Space in Color: Mental Health and the Multiracial Black Experience”
We kick off the symposium with a thought-provoking plenary session exploring the mental health challenges and triumphs of those navigating the intersection of multiracial identities and Blackness. This session will delve into the complexities and isolations faced by individuals who embody multiple racial and cultural heritages, and their journey to find belonging within both the Black community and broader society.
